Youth Faith Formation

Our goal for our young church is that through their love of Christ they will encourage & lead peers to advocate for creation, the poor, the hungry & the unfortunate with passion & conviction as their friendship and love for Christ grows within.
Youth Faith Formation Classes (Children in grades K-8)
Wednesdays during the school year, our children meet for Youth Faith Formation, including preparation for the sacraments of Eucharist and Penance.
Meetings include catechesis (teaching of Christian doctrine), development of habits of following Jesus such as prayer and Scripture reading, and arts & crafts related to Catholic holy days throughout the liturgical year.
The Youth Faith Formation program is open to all children of St. Patrick and St. Margaret Mary parishes, including, but certainly not limited to, Saint Patrick School students. Are you being called? Share your time and talent with young Catholics.
We are currently asking for our parishioners to join our team of Catechists and share their love of Christ. We welcome all gifts and talents. We meet Wednesday evenings and provide the study materials. There are many ways to help with this ministry: snacks, fundraising help, event planning & set up, substitute, or not sure but want to help.
All help is greatly appreciated. Contact Veronica Castillo-Rogers (vrogers@saintpat.org), Director of Faith Formation, to learn more about how you can help. Volunteers will complete safe environment training through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis prior to serving.
