Volunteers Make A Difference!
St. Patrick School is a great place because of its people. Our Parents are the best! Please look closely at your schedule and give some time to volunteer. It's a great way to get to know the staff, children, and parents of St. Patrick School.- Involves supervision of the children while at recess either indoor or outdoor. Parents with younger children are welcome to help with recess duty.
Recess Duty
- Involves collecting aluminum cans one day a week.
Recycling
- Involves helping children find books, reading to children and helping with the Accelerated Reader Program.
Library Helper
- Organize holiday parties, organize volunteers for the Fall Festival and Noodles & Doodles, and help with the "classroom chair" for the the Noodles & Doodles auction.
Room Parent
- Involves helping serve lunch, supervision of the children while they dump their trays, and general cleanup of the cafeteria when lunch is over.
Cafeteria Duty
- Involves counting money and sorting merchandise or prizes.
Fundraisers
- Involves making flyers, reminders, posters, order forms, charts or spreadsheets.
Computer Work
- Various assistance in the school office or as needed.
Office Help
- Involves making baked goods, posters, sort prizes, design or build a new game for the festival, help cook for teachers' luncheons, serve cookies or punch at special events, pick up items for special events, serve on a committee (Chili Supper, Fish Fry, School Picnic, etc.).
