Welcome from the Principal!

Why St. Patrick School? What makes us different?

We are Catholic. We are called to see Christ in every child and every family that join us on this journey. We know that each child is a part of a greater community, and we help them to find their purpose within it. We help our families raise Catholic-Christian, civic-minded adults.

We are Community. Our role in the education of children and young adults is just part of the experience. We work closely with parents and community members to create a unique learning environment. We hold and sponsor events that bring families together. We take care of one another and others who need our assistance.

We are Student-Centered. We know that each child has individual needs. We strive to reach our students at their individual levels. Come and see for yourself. Watch our three and four year-olds experience school for the first time. See how our kindergarten through second grade teachers work together to reach, challenge and enrich their students. Learn how our third through fifth grade teachers will challenge their students through Value-Added Education, a cutting edge approach to interpreting data and matching student needs to teacher strengths. Come and experience our middle school; watch as our young adults tackle their studies with teachers specializing in Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, Health, Religion, Spanish, Band and Art and then reach out to the greater community with student-driven service projects.

We are Academically Progressive. As a part of the greater Archdiocese of Indianapolis, we have access to professional development and new trends that are often difficult to attempt in other school settings. We are fortunate to be a part of a diocese that is currently being recognized nationally for its work in education. And we are fortunate to be steeped in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, whose pillars of faith continue to inspire us from one century to the next.

You can browse our website, but I encourage you to come in and see us. Take a chance and stop by the office on a whim – or call the office and make an appointment to tour the school. Come and see why we are different. See how our teachers work with students to get the very best from each of them.
