St. Patrick School is a member of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, under the umbrella of the Office of Catholic Education. Our local school administration works in community with the School Commission, whose main responsibility evolves around budget and policy setting. The School Commission is appointed by the parish pastors of each of the Terre Haute Deanery parishes, in consultation with current commission members.
Members The president of the school commission for the 2016-2017 academic year is Justin Garzolini, who can be contacted by email at email@example.com. With the transition to becoming a deanery school, there has been a fair amount of change in terms of who is on the commission. The full updated list will be posted here soon. Meetings School Commission normally meets at 7PM in the school library on the 4th Tuesday of the month. If you would like to attend a meeting to see how School Commission operates or to voice a concern, please contact the School Commission President.
The purpose of St. Patrick Parent Club is to promote the religious, cultural, social and educational advantages of the students at St. Patrick School. Parent Club provides financial assistance, voluntary services, awareness to the community about St. Patrick School’s activities and student achievements,and social activities to build community.
Parent Club sponsors two fundraisers each year: the Fall Trash Bag Sale and Race for Education. Parent Club provides additional school wide social events, such as Trunk or Treating and the Family Festival, each year. Membership of the Parent Club consists of parents, guardians of children, members of the administration and faculty of the school, priest or priests and any adult member of the St. Patrick Community who is interested in the purpose of this organization. The Parent Club Executive Board consists of Past President, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and the chairperson of each standing committee. These committees are Family Festival, Trash Bag Sales, Race for Education, Hospitality, Publicity, and Volunteer Coordinator. 2017-2018 Executive Board Members
The SPS Booster Club supports the athletic programs of the school. They sponsor all of the school sport teams financially, including uniforms, concessions, and referees. They also run the Biddy Basketball program for all school and parish children, ages PreKindergarten-4th grade. The Booster Club financially supports other projects in the school as needed. The Booster Club normally meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm. You can look at the Saint Patrick parish calendar to check on future meetings.
