Girl Scouts

Welcome to the website of the Girl Scouts at Saint Patrick School of the Terre Haute Deanery.

Who we are

We are part of Service Unit 163 (Central Vigo & West Vigo) of Girl Scouts of Central Indiana and Girl Scouts of the USA. We build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We strive to make it easy, meaningful, and fun for girls and volunteers to grow as leaders. This mission, along with the Girl Scout Promise and Law, is the foundation of all we do.

What we do

Girls learn leadership and life skills, take adventures with new friends, and make memories that last a lifetime. They earn badges, complete journeys, and have fun.

Who can join

Girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade can join a Girl Scout troop at St. Patrick School of the Terre Haute Deanery. Most girls in our troops either go to St. Patrick School of the Terre Haute Deanery or are members of one of the deanery parishes. With the permission of the troop leader, others are welcome to join as long as the scout and parent/guardian are committed to being involved in the Girl Scouts and following the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law.

How to join

Girls may join Girl Scouts contacting troop leader for their grade level. Troops traditionally start in the fall. However, girls may join later in the year, too.
